The museum is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the best time to arrive is right at opening so you can make the most of your visit. At the entrance, show your ticket and receive a British Motor Museum sticker, which gives you access to the Car Ride Experience. Vintage vehicles are available outside between 11:00 AM–12:30 PM and 2:00 PM–4:00 PM, where you can queue to enjoy a ride as a passenger. Join a guided Museum Tour at 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM, where you’ll explore highlights of the collection and hear fascinating stories about British motoring history. For an even deeper dive, take part in a Collection Centre Tour at 12:00 PM or 3:00 PM, where rare prototypes and unique models are on display. Each tour lasts about 45 minutes and begins in the Welcome Gallery. Between tours, explore at your own pace — with over 400 classic cars, interactive exhibits, and family-friendly activities, there’s something for everyone.
