Description

Step into Birmingham Botanical Gardens after dark and follow an illuminated trail through the historic grounds. This evening experience transforms the gardens into a colorful world of light, sound, and atmosphere, with large-scale displays, interactive features, and festive visual effects designed for all ages. As you make your way along the nearly one-mile route, discover a series of installations that bring the gardens to life after sunset. Expect music-synchronized lighting, projection mapping, dynamic laser effects, and interactive displays along the path. Features include tunnels of light, mirror balls, waterfall-style effects, and other changing scenes that create an immersive experience as you walk through the gardens. Friendly stewards are positioned throughout the trail to help guide your visit. Most visitors complete the route in around 60 to 90 minutes, and you may choose to walk it again if time allows. Some installations include flashing and rotating lights, and projection shows may contain up to 10 light flashes per second. There may also be occasional haze or smoke effects used for atmosphere. The experience finishes back at the end of the trail within Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
